2025 HOLIDAY EVENTS | BOOK READINGS
Denise shared Eleanor's story with special events around the SW Michigan area during the 2025 Holiday Season that brought the magic of the holidays to area families. From the Box Factory in St. Joseph, Michigan supporting local Girl Scout Troops, to Rising Kites Coffee in Bridgman supporting their mission to provide employment and job training opportunities to individuals with intellectual disabilities and to foster an inclusive environment where all individuals are encouraged to see the gift that people with disabilities are to our world.
Up to South Haven Memorial Library where we were welcomed with open arms. We joined the fun at Red Barn Tree Farm in Berrien Springs where families heard Eleanor's story, met Santa, drank cocoa and found the perfect Christmas tree at this gorgeous spot.
Lonely Wolf Cafe in Paw, Paw welcomed us to create an event with storytelling, songs, caroling and more where we collected FIFTY! cookie boxes from generous donors filled with everything needed to create a sweeter holiday season for families facing challenges in the community.
Sourdough House and Coffee Bar, Benton Harbor's newest fabulous cafe, welcomed us warmly with lattes, sourdough, a reading nook to share Eleanor's story AND cookie decorating.
We are grateful to the fabulous families, generous venue owners and all who made our holiday season special as we shared the story of a ragdoll with a wish.
